Last updated October 23, 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by The Real Estate Investment Network (“MindShui”, “we”, “us”), the home of MindShui™ – Feng Shui for the Mind, The MindShui Way and the private coaching of Patrick Francey and Steffany Hanlen-Francey. Our mailing address is [mailing address, British Columbia, Canada].

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information that every website receives.

  • Contact and coaching inquiries: your name, email address, phone number (optional), who you would like to work with, and what you write in your message.
  • The MindShui Alignment Audit: your first name, email address and your audit scores, so we can show you your results, send you a copy and follow up. The written reflections you type during the audit stay on your screen and are not sent to us.
  • The Seven Areas workbook and the LIFT newsletter: your email address.
  • Technical information: your browser type, device, approximate location based on IP address, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the site. See Cookies and analytics.
3. How we use your information
  • To reply to your messages and coaching inquiries.
  • To show and send you your audit results and the resources you request.
  • To send LIFT and occasional MindShui updates, if you have signed up.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect without asking you first.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us run the site and communicate with you, such as our website host, email newsletter platform and customer relationship tools. They may use it only to provide their service to us and must protect it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of MindShui, our clients or others.

6. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is stored in another country, it is subject to that country’s laws and may be accessed by its courts or authorities.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Inquiries that do not lead to a coaching relationship are deleted after [retention period].

8. How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.

9. Your rights and choices
  • Access: ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom, or contact us.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal requirement to keep it.

We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics cookies, such as [analytics provider], to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not remember your preferences.

12. Children

This site and our programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
